The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) spread tall over the world and became pandemic. there is a high risk of infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) during patient care for medical professionals, particularly in aerosol-generating procedures such as endotracheal incubation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
There are different recommendation for staff protection during CPR. e.g. using a face mask or an oxygen mask in the patients face. a rapidly insertion of a subplotsairway management device may also protect the staff from spending aerosol of the virus. The purpose of this study was to visualize aerosol-spread during CPR with different strategies of staff and individual protection and airway management.
